Significance of Kumbabishekam

The Tamil month of Thai (தை) is considered highly auspicious for new beginnings. The saying "Thai Pirandhal Vazhi Pirakkum" (தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும்) means "When Thai arrives, new paths open." Performing Kumbabishekam during Thai month brings abundant blessings and prosperity.
