Thai Pongal Main Festival
தைப்பொங்கல்
Thai Pongal is the most important festival celebrated at our temple. It marks the beginning of the Tamil month of Thai and is dedicated to the Sun God. The festival celebrates the harvest season and prosperity. Special rituals, decorations, and offerings of sweet Pongal (rice cooked with jaggery) are made to the deity. The temple premises come alive with vibrant kolams, traditional music, and devotional fervor.

Thaipoosam
தைப்பூசம்
Thaipoosam is celebrated in honor of Lord Murugan and is observed during the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai. Devotees undertake kavadi (burden) carrying as a form of penance and devotion. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Special poojas are conducted, and devotees seek blessings for prosperity, health, and fulfillment of vows. The atmosphere is filled with chanting, music, and spiritual energy.

Aadi Month Special Poojas
ஆடி மாத சிறப்பு பூஜைகள்
The Tamil month of Aadi (mid-July to mid-August) is considered especially auspicious for worshipping the Goddess. Every Friday during Aadi month, special poojas and abhishekams are conducted for Muthumariamman. Devotees offer prayers for family welfare, health, and protection. The temple witnesses large gatherings of devotees who seek the blessings of Amman during this sacred month. Traditional offerings include turmeric, vermilion, flowers, and coconuts.
